Penarth is a pleasant town that appears to have become a suburb of Cardiff and is served by a regular rail service from Cardiff Central Station with a journey time of 15 minutes.
Having found the collection point (My satnav's battery was flat - so I had to resort to asking directions) I headed back to Birmingham via Cardiff Marina to refuel the car at the local Tesco store.
