The North Pole?

I'm acustomed to travelling fairly long distances in my work, but when I saw this sign at my first collection point at 9.30 a.m. this morning I was taken aback!

And I thought that I was in west London, in fact only 10 minutes earlier I'd exited Wood Lane tube station, opposite the BBC's Television Centre.

So there we are, I have discovered that the North Pole is just off Scrubs Lane in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham!


So having collected the vehicle, a London Taxi, from close by the "North Pole" and redelivered it to the next client in Islington I decided to take my lunch break in St James's Park before pressing on to my my second collection in Slough and then heading back home to Birmingham.
